Caylea graduated with honors and as valedictorian from Canadian Therapeutic College and has been a Registered Massage Therapist and a Sport Injury Therapist since June 2008. She also completed her Manual Osteopathic Practitioner program at the Canadian College of Osteopathy (Toronto), in December 2015. Caylea has been effectively treating patients using osteopathic techniques taught to her and has seen success with many patients with a wide variety of conditions and complaints.

 

Caylea has always been involved in sports, whether playing, coaching (gymnastics) or being the team therapist (football teams as a team therapist/medic). She has been exposed to a wide variety of sport injuries and many other conditions such as overuse injuries, headaches, scars, postpartum, lower back pain, TMJ, muscle strains, post fracture just to name a few.

 

Since graduating Caylea has spent her time giving back to the College she graduated from. Acting as jury member for defense of research papers, examiner, tutoring new students in Osteopathy and Massage Therapy. She has taken many post-graduate courses to strengthen her skills as a Manual Practitioner with a great interest in pregnancy, postpartum care, babies, TMJ – working closely with a few Niagara region dentists, as well as concussion. Caylea is also a lactation educator helping and guiding new moms with the best of her knowledge. From 2021 Caylea teaches other healthcare professionals k-taping for pregnancy & postpartum. She developed the workshop with many years of athletic and k-taping background and turned it into an extra tool for healthcare professionals to utilize to help keep pregnant and postpartum clients more comfortable in between seeing their healthcare team. She highly values collaborating with other healthcare professionals within and outside of her clinic. 

 

In her free time Caylea enjoys spending time with her family up north where she is originally from. Caylea has 2 children, a boy and a girl and a very supportive husband throughout her 11 years of post-secondary school. A love for the outdoors, from hiking to paddle boarding etc., and an extreme passion for music, has been playing the drums since she was 11 years of age.
